Testimonials

“[the FRC]…has not only been an extremely valuable resource but a lifesaver.  It offers my grandson, an only child, the opportunity to socialize with other children and also provides an environment for me to interact with the children, learn better parenting skills or simply relax and visit with the staff.” – a 73 yr. old grandmother

“Upon moving to Cottage Grove I was amazed to discover the existence of APC.  A place where parents from all backgrounds and children of all ages could meet together for play and conversation.” - Cottage Grove parent

“[the FRC]…has been a godsend for both my daughter and me.  Two years ago, living away from my family, I was feeling very isolated and lonely.  We started attending the FRC every Tuesday and Thursday.  It has given me the opportunity to interact with other moms, and my daughter with other children, who are now her friends.  The teachers are wonderful: they help give us all a perspective of what to expect from our infants and toddlers.” – a new, young mother

“We have met a lot of people through the FRC and attend a lot of the programs that are offered.  Over the past two years, the FRC staff has helped our family with services, parenting questions, and both my children and myself have learned to use the computers and internet.  I appreciate the individual attention I receive from the staff with any questions or personal matters I discuss with them.” - Mother of a 5 and 9 year old
