This division administers the Law Library in accordance with Oregon statutes. The Law Library provides legal reference materials and assistance to patrons. It serves attorneys, judges, litigants, and the general public. The Law Library is self-supporting from monies collected by the courts as part of civil litigation filing fees. These fees may only be used in support of Law Library operations.
Mission Statement: The Lane County Law Library is dedicated to providing a high-level of service to members of the bar and the public. As part of this mission, the Law Library strives to provide access to legal materials and related resources needed for legal research by the community.
Vision Statement: The Law Library will be recognized within Lane County as a leading contributor to programs allowing access to and use of legal resources.
