Family and Community: Rob is married to Julie Hulme, a first grade public school teacher. They have lived in and been active in the River Road area for more than 20 years
Hobbies: Rob has a great love and appreciation for the outdoors; this is the key reason he chose to start a landscaping business, so that he could spend much of his working life outside. Rob loves to garden and hike, bike, and camp. He and Julie also love to travel – both within the U.S. and internationally.
Rob Handy moved to Lane County as a teenager, falling in love with the beauty of the area, the friendliness of the people, and the sense of community he found here. He has lived in Eugene his entire adult life and has been active as a volunteer with nonprofit and community organizations for more than 25 years.
Rob looks forward to serving the people of his District and all of Lane County on the Board of County Commissioners.
