Fleet Services has combined with facilities to form Fleet and General Services. The division still operates a centralized fleet shop for all County Units and now it also houses 3 facilities staff. Our Division is responsible for procurement, maintenance and disposal of County vehicles and heavy equipment, in addition to maintenance and upkeep of the department site. We employ 26 people in Administration,Facilities and Maintenance & Parts/Procurement.

We also service, maintain and repair over 500 vehicles and heavy equipment belonging to other government agencies, generating approximately $200k in outside revenue per year.
Fleet vehicles and equipment logged approximately 3,313,897 miles last year. Each Fall, we hold a Fleet auction to dispose of surplus vehicles and equipment.
