The mission of Lane County's Building Program is to protect public safety, health and welfare wherever hazards associated with the design, erection, repair, removal, demolition or occupancy of structures have the potential to exist within the county's jurisdiction. The Building Program endeavors to fulfill this mission through the efficient, professional, and equitable administration of nationally recognized code standards and local regulations.

"Protecting Our Quality of Life"
Lane County Building Division is proposing a fee increase to building fees that will take effect Sept. 15th. Last year FSC Group provided a cost recovery analysis and determined that some fees needed to be adjusted to cover the cost of operations. These fees were primarily in the electrical program. The proposed fee increase is less than the analysis shows as needed because other costs recovery measures are being implemented. Several fee changes reflect changes in the Oregon Administrative Rules and Oregon Revised Statutes.
If you have any questions regarding the proposed fees, please contact Lane County’s Building Official, Steve McGuire at firstname.lastname@example.org
Land Management Property Records Online (LMD-PRO)
The Land Management Division’s Property Records Online application (LMD-PRO) is a portal for accessing official county property related documents such as building, sanitation and land use permits as well as other property related records and historic information.
