Transportation Planning & Traffic
The Transportation Planning & Traffic Division’s program areas include long range transportation planning for the Eugene-Springfield metro area and countywide, annual adoption of the 5-year County Road Fund Capital Improvement Program; processing Board of Commissioner priorities for spending federal and state transportation revenues within the county; road inventory maintenance; development proposal review for transportation impacts on county facilities (including within cities); Lane Code Chapter 15 interpretations; geographic information systems services; producing design specifications for traffic signals, signs and pavement markings; traffic sign production and repair, pavement striping and marking, traffic signal maintenance, and responding to public inquiries and concerns with regard to all of these program areas.
