The Area Information Records system (commonly known as AIRS) is an automated information system managed by and serving a consortium of local public safety and justice agencies. The primary partners in the AIRS consortium are Lane County and the cities of Eugene and Springfield. Law enforcement and court agencies in other organizations such as the cities of Florence, Junction City, and Coburg also use AIRS services.
The AIRS consortium currently runs a highly integrated, heavily used, shared system that has major subsystems for Law Enforcement Records, Computer Aided-Dispatch, Adult Corrections and local Courts. It also includes interfaces to the regional Geographic Information System (GIS) and to state and national law enforcement systems.
AIRS staff includes the AIRS Manager, AIRS Technical Supervisor, Senior Programmer & System Analysts, Programmer Analysts, and Project Team members.
