County Hosts Workshop to Create New Strategic Plan
The Lane County Board of Commissioners will hold an all-day strategic planning workshop on June 25 at River Ridge Golf Course. The public is invited to join Commissioners and staff to contribute to the formation of the new plan. The meeting is considered a regular Board of Commissioners meeting and will run from 9 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m.
“Developing a clear vision for the future and a road map to get there is critical to addressing the challenges that we face,” said Lane County Administrator Steve Mokrohisky. “Our team is ready to engage in solutions that achieve the priorities and goals set by the Board.”
Additional public workshops will be held over the next two months and it is anticipated that the new plan will be adopted by the Board in late summer. Lane County’s previous strategic plans were developed in 2001 and 2012.
