REGIONAL FOOD CONSORTIUM

When: Thursday, May 24, 2 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

Where: McDonald Wholesale Weir Center, 2360 West Broadway, Eugene

Why: To bring together innovators in the Lane County food and beverage industries to discuss needs, project growth and develop relationships between businesses and economic development officials.

The consortium includes Lane County, the City of Eugene, Lane Workforce Partnership, the Eugene Chamber of Commerce and the Lane Metro Partnership coming together with the growing Lane County food and beverage industry business owners and officials.  The idea is to develop a food industry cluster strategy to grow the industry even more (as based on a plan adopted by the Joint Elected Officials of Lane County, City of Eugene and the City of Springfield)
