Springfield Drop Site Location Incorrect in State Voters’ Pamphlet

Contact: Lane County Chief Deputy Clerk Annette Newingham, 682-4328

The City of Springfield Ballot Drop Box has the wrong location noted in the State Voters’ Pamphlet. The insert included with ballots mailed to voters and the Lane County website are accurate.

The drop site location is:

City of Springfield Drive-By Ballot Drop Box
Enter off A Street, drop box located at north end of covered parking lot
between 5th and 6th streets,
Springfield 97477

The City of Springfield has posted signs at the old location directing voters to the correct location.

Voters may drop off their ballots at any of the many Official Drop Locations listed in the insert included with your ballot or listed on the following website: http://www.co.lane.or.us/Elections/DropOff.htm

Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. On Election Day, May 20, 2008 the office will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
