Free Event Provides Answers to Addiction During National Recovery Month

The Eugene Police Department and the Lane County Advisory/AOD Planning Committee are hosting "Answers to Addiction", a free community event as part of a series of activities in recognition of National Recovery Month.
Local professionals are coming together to provide a forum for community members with addiction and their loved ones. Learn more about the basic causes of addiction, new medications, addiction’s psychological impacts and the role nicotine plays.
The free event is from 7-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 23 in Harris Hall, 125 E. Eighth Ave., Eugene.
