Transfer Sites Change Hours for Winter Months

Lane County’s Waste Management Division is changing its transfer site operating hours for the winter season.
Winter operating hour changes include closing on Sundays at Glenwood and two hours less at some of our smaller transfer stations. Most transfer stations remain the same year round.
Winter hours start today, Oct. 1 and go through March 31, 2009. Summer hours begin again on April 1, 2009. The Glenwood Central Receiving Station is now closed on Sundays.
Transfer Site Winter Hours
Glenwood Central Receiving Station, Florence and Veneta: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Cottage Grove, Creswell and Oakridge: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday
Marcola, Rattlesnake and Vida: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday
London, Mapleton, Sharps Creek, Swisshome and Walton: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays
Low Pass: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays
McKenzie Bridge: 1- 5 p.m., Monday and Thursday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays
