Lane County Premiers Video Series on Metro TV

Want to know more about your Lane County Government?

Community members will have a chance to explore how Lane County Government’s system of services work to meet the public’s needs each and every day through a series of shows that focus on Lane County Government.

The first show – titled "Collaborating to Care for Lane County Children and Youth" – will share with viewers how different programs provide support to the youth of Lane County and their families.

The first show premiers tonight at 9:30 p.m., on Comcast Cable Channel 21.

Twelve shows will be developed. New shows will air the first Wednesday of each month at 9:30 p.m. on Comcast Cable 21. Shows replay throughout the month at:

9:30 p.m., Fridays

9:30 p.m., Saturdays

9:30 p.m., Sundays

3 p.m., Sundays

4:30 p.m., Mondays

9:30 p.m., Wednesdays

Each show will also be available on the Lane County website at www.lanecounty.org and on Metro TV Channel 21’s website at www.metrotv.org

The Lane County Community and Economic Development Program secured one-time cable franchise money, making it possible to share Lane County’s story with the community.

Shows are being produced through a collaboration of the Lane County Community and Economic Development Program, Metro Television, and the Public Information Office along with featured Lane County departments and County employees.
