Lane County's Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center is located at the Glenwood Central Receiving Station. The facility offers safe disposal of household hazardous wastes at no charge. The facility is open one day a week, plus one Saturday each month; appointments are required. Appointments are required. Call Lane County Waste Management Division at (541) 682-3111 Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Almost any type of household hazardous waste can be accepted at the facility, including florescent lamps of all sizes, paint, thinners and other solvents, fuels, pesticides, corrosive materials, pool chemicals and more. The following items are NOT ACCEPTED:
Businesses and organizations may be eligible to participate in a separate program for Conditionally Exempt Generators (CEGs). CEGs must preregister and pay disposal fees. For more information and prices, call (541)682-4120.
