Lane County Recruitment Coordinator Laura Vinson will lead four free job application workshops in communities across Lane County in March.

The workshops are designed to help job seekers better understand and complete the application requirements for Lane County jobs. Workshop attendees will:
  • Learn how to identify current job openings
  • Create a profile in the application system
  • Submit an application and address supplemental questions
  • Learn more about the selection and interview panel process

“We are committed to demystifying the process for job seekers,” said Vinson. “We are also committed to increasing the diversity of our workforce so that we better represent the community we serve. These workshops will help potential applicants better understand what skills and backgrounds we need in our workforce, as well as the nuts and bolts of the application process.”

The workshops will be held:

  • Monday, March 6, 10:00 a.m.: Siletz Tribal Offices (2468 W. 11th Avenue, Eugene)
  • Tuesday, March 7, 11:00 a.m.: Cottage Grove Public Library (700 E. Gibbs Avenue, Cottage Grove)
