Lane County Government, Oregon’s Government Contract Assistance Program, and Willamette SCORE have partnered to offer a free training for local businesses interested in doing business with government agencies.

The FREE workshop is on Monday, November 19, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Room 258 of the Charnelton Building (151 W. 7th Street, Eugene).

“We are invested in helping a diverse array of local businesses better understand how to respond to public solicitations,” said Stephen Nelson, Lane County procurement supervisor. “It can be an intimidating process and we want to take the mystery out of it.”

The workshop will help local businesses better understand Lane County and other government procurement processes, best practices for submitting bids, and pitfalls to avoid during the bidding and procurement process.

The workshop is free but attendees must register in advance at willamette.score.org.
