Healthy Pregnancy: Tips for a Healthy Baby


Before you get pregnant:

  • ake a multivitamin with folic acid every day
  • Exercise and maintain a healthy weight
  • Eat healthy foods, including fruits, vegetables & whole grains
  • Quit smoking and avoid secondhand smoke
  • Get help for any alcohol or drug problems
  • Get regular health, mental and dental check-ups

During your pregnancy:
