Why a Learning Institute?

The Lane County Health & Human Services Prevention Program Learning Institute was formed to provide educational opportunities for Lane County community members and partners.

Goal

To provide learning opportunities for community members and partners by offering:

  • Regularly scheduled trainings
  • Educational resources
  • Technical assistance

Sample topics include:

  • Introduction to the 40 Developmental Assets
  • Prevention best practices
  • Strategic planning
  • Suicide prevention (QPR)
  • Problem gambling identification
  • Safe sleep
  • and more
