Waste Wise electronics reuse & recycling resources

For consumers, TVs, computers, laptops, printers, monitors, and tablets can be recycled for free through the Oregon E-Cycles program. Taking appropriate measures to responsibly recycle electronics not only helps the environment and community health (harmful materials like lead and mercury are often found in older electronics), recycling is also the law. e-waste recycling in container

Anyone can take seven or fewer items to more than 200 convenient locations across the state. To find a recycling locale and to learn more information, visit EcycleOregon.org or call (888) 532-9253. You are urged to call ahead if you have large or heavy items to ensure the collection site can accept your items.

The program also features guidelines for electronics manufacturers and retailers and information on clearing private information from personal devices.
