The voter registration deadline for the November 6, 2018 General Election is Tuesday, October 16, 2018.

People who are not registered to vote in any Oregon county may register online at no later than 11:59 p.m., Tuesday, October 16. The online option is available only to those with a valid Oregon driver’s license, DMV-issued identification card or learner’s permit.

Other registration options:

  • Submit a voter registration form to the Elections Office by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 16.
  • Mail a voter registration card to the Elections Office with a postmark no later than Tuesday, October 16.

New voters who will turn 18 on or before the November 6 Election Day may register by the October 16 deadline and receive a ballot, even if they are still 17 on the deadline date.

The Lincoln Street ballot drop box at Lane County Elections will be open now through Tuesday, October 16, at 5:00 p.m. to make it easier for voters to drop off completed registration cards.

“We are opening the drop box to accommodate Lane County citizens who may not be able to come to our office during regular business hours,” said Lane County Clerk Cheryl Betschart.
