Call center available for non-emergency inquiries related to winter weather

Lane County has launched a call center in response to the recent heavy snowfall. The call center is for community members who have non-emergency inquiries related to our winter weather.

The call center will run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is staffed by Lane County personnel.  The number is 541-682-3977.

“We are hopeful that the phone bank will alleviate the large number of non-emergency calls coming into our dispatch centers, and connect community members with someone who can answer their questions or connect them with local available resources,” said Lane County Emergency Manager Patence Winningham.

Emergency calls should still be directed to 911.

The call center is expected to remain open to manage inquiries as needed until weather improves.
