Lane County's 2022 Employee Charitable Giving Campaign

**The information on this site is specific to employees of Lane County. Events and activities are not open to the general public.**

Each year Lane County hosts a Charitable Giving Campaign in partnership with United Way of Lane County and EarthShare. The campaign provides a way for employees to engage in fun fundraising activities and the opportunity to make charitable contributions to the organization of their choice through payroll deduction.

Payroll Deduction, One-Time Gift, Recurring Gifts Forms & Online Portal

There are a variety ways you can give during the campaign:

Make a pledge through payroll deduction.
Make a single gift contribution through payroll deduction.
Make a pledge with a credit/debit card for recurring payments.
Make a single gift contribution with your credit/debit card.
Participate in a department or County-wide fundraising activity, such as the Dodgeball Tournament, raffles, etc.

Contributions can be made by:

PDF fillable form sent to your department campaign coordinator (listed above)
Lane County Giving Portal site: https://egiving.unitedwaylane.org/crm/Start.jsp. Note: if you've made a gift at a United Way event in the last 11 months, you may see a message that says you've already pledged. By-pass this message by clicking "New/Additional Pledge"
- User ID = Employee ID (found on your pay stub)
- Password = first initial of first name (uppercase) and complete last name with uppercase first initial, no spaces:
  - Example 1: For an employee named Susan Cruz: User ID = 99999; Password = SCruz
  - Example 2: For an employee named Jon Von-Haugen: User ID = 11111; Password = JVon-haugen

How to Give to Any Non-Profit through Payroll Deduction, etc.

United Way collects payroll deductions on our behalf and distributes them to any qualified Non-Prof 501c(3).

If you want to designate your contribution to a specific organization, click the “Designations – Click here to designate your gifts” pull down menu.

There is a minimum $100 annual gift for designations outside of EarthShare and United Way.
