Housing Rehabilitation Program - Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
Environmental Review Record (ERR)
Lane County and St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County have partnered together to provide low interest loans with no monthly payments to make important repairs to homes in Oakridge and Westfir. More information about the project can be found by clicking HERE.
In order to provide these loans using federal funds through the Oregon Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the County must complete an Environmental Review. The purpose of the Environmental Review process is to analyze the effect a proposed project will have on the people and the natural environment within a designated project area and the effect the material and social environment may have on the project. All CDBG projects must complete a environmental review prior to receiving funds.
All components of the Environmental Review for the Housing Rehabilitation Program are available to be reviewed below. The documents can also be reviewed at the Lane County Public Service Building, County Administration, 125 East 8th Avenue, Eugene. The Public Service Building is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Public Comments Welcome: Any individual, group, or agency may submit written comments on the ERR to Kristen Lee, Lane County Administration, 125 East 8th Avenue, Eugene OR, 97401, or by email ([email protected]). All comments received by September 23, 2024 will be considered by Lane County prior to submitting a request for release of funds.
