Lane County's Nuisance Abatement Program cleans up illegal dump sites along county roads. When identified, illegal dumpers face civil citations and may be ordered to pay the cost of cleaning up the site.

Did you know that Lane County's Nuisance Abatement Program cleaned up 511 dump sites in 2018? Since 2006, over 3,100 dump sites have been cleaned up and investigated. This represents over 2 million pounds of trash removed and disposed of.

1. Record the date, time and exact address.

2. Write down the license plate number and vehicle description if possible.

3. DO NOT TOUCH OR REMOVE ANYTHING!
