Posted on 01/30/2017
The month of May is Mind Your Mind Month in Lane County, sponsored by Public Health's Prevention Section. This is the third year that the Mind Your Mind Project will launch this local campaign to promote mental wellness and National Mental Health Awareness Month.

This year, five employers in Lane County will be recognized by Lane County Public Health and awarded $1000 each for their work to support their employees’ mental health, as well as participation in Mind Your Mind Month. It is intended to encourage future development of creative solutions that sustain workplace mental wellness. Employers who would like to apply for this award must be located in Lane County and have fewer than 1,000 employees.

The deadline for submission is March 1, 2017. Businesses or organizations that meet these criteria can visit the Mind Your Mind website to apply.

Funding for the award program is provided by state grants.
