Monthly Community Jail Tours 

Tours of the Lane County Adult Corrections Facility will offer participants information and insight into daily operations of the Lane County Jail, located at 101 W. 5th Ave Eugene OR 97401.

Visitors will learn about the management and treatment practices employed by the Sheriff’s Corrections staff and gain a better understanding of the role that corrections plays in the law enforcement system.  Discover how the many volunteers and services at the facility work together to provide opportunities for offenders to return to society and become productive citizens.

Community Member Tours are conducted once a month for groups of approximately 4-10 people. If there are not enough people who sign up, or the activity at the jail becomes prohibitive to the tour, it may be re-scheduled to a future date.

Tour participants must:

• Be at least 18 years old. Pass a criminal record check. 

• Complete a required security screening prior to entering the facility.
