Lane County Behavioral Health has the responsibility to assure protective services for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness who are over 18 years of age.
Abuse Includes
Adult abuse may include physical harm or injury, verbal or emotional abuse, sexual abuse, financial exploitation, abandonment and neglect, wrongful restraint or involuntary seclusion.
When You Report
Your report is confidential. Our screeners will ask questions to determine if the case should be investigated. If the case doesn’t require an investigation, we may offer services and resources to help protect someone who’s vulnerable. If you get a recording, leave a message and we will call you back.
