With the holiday season here, BRING encourages residents to clear out their old, reusable items to make room for the new. This year, Lane County residents can donate directly at the Glenwood Transfer Station, where BRING recently opened a donation site in partnership with Lane County Waste Management and St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County.

Waste Wise Lane County—a part of the Lane County Waste Management Division—is back with its third “Simplify the Holidays” campaign.

The registration deadline for the 2025 NextStep Electronics Recycling Competition is rapidly approaching.

The 15th annual MLK Holiday Meal will return on Wednesday, December 18. Organizers with Lane County’s MLK Education Center are seeking donations in order to serve as many people as possible during the event.

Election results will be made available to the public starting at 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, and updated again at 11:00 p.m.
