Administration

This group provides administrative support for the Lane County Technology Services Department. The Administration Division directs the work of programs such as the PC Replacement Program and the Infrastructure Replacement Program. In addition, this group provides administration functions including budget planning and administration, IT purchasing, billing, contract processing and other general administrative functions to support the IS Department Technology Divisions, Lane County and our external customers.

Applications Division

This division creates, implements and supports all of Lane County's computer programs. Applications is made up of application programmers and database administrators. It is currently responsible for approximately 160 computer application systems and 100 databases.

Desktop Support Services

This group provides user and desktop support services to all Lane County departments. Our services include assisting customers with procurement, setup and technical support of desktop computers, peripherals, mobile devices, printers, scanners and other related technology. In addition, this group administers and manages five Service Desks - Lane County Service Desk, Lane County Facilities Service Desk, Regional Service Desk, City of Springfield Service Desk and LCOG Telephone Support Desk.

Maps and GIS

The GIS division supports various county divisions including: Engineering, Road Maintenance, Land Management, Waste Management, Parks, Assessment & Taxation, County Administration, Sheriff's Office, Health & Human Services.

Project Management Office

The PMO is responsible for all IT projects from inception to completion, whether these projects are applications development, infrastructure, information systems, desktop or database related.

Technology Infrastructure Services

This division maintains and administers the computer networks and systems including analysis, development and implementation of engineering-related projects.

Security and Audit

This division provides education on security and policy issues, ensures compliance with federal security mandates, and manages access to technology infrastructure.
