Electric Bill assistance

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
can help eligible households with their electric bill.

Eligible households will:
Meet income guidelines and
Have at least one person with a social security number in the home and
Pay for electricity through their utility company or to their landlord

If your household also pays for Natural Gas or uses Heating Fuels such as firewood, propane, pellets or heating oil, select the links below for information on additional programs your may be eligible for.

Additional Programs Available by Utility

 

Central Lincoln PUD:

Project Care: For CLPUD customers in Florence, OR who are at risk of disconnection due to an unexpected loss of income.

Call Siuslaw Outreach Services (SOS) at 541-997-2816 to be screened for this program.
This is program is not offered through Lane County Utility Assistance Programs.


Emerald People's Utility District (EPUD) Customers:

ERAP: A four month credit of $75 dollars each (totaling $300) for eligible households.
Eligible households will:
Be at or below LIHEAP income guidelines seen on this page and
Have a senior 60 or older or
Have a child 17 or younger or 
Be receiving disability payments

Helping Hands: A one time grant of up to $600.

Call EPUD at 541-746-1583, Monday-Thursday to be screened for this program.
This program is not offered through Lane County Utility Assistance Programs.


Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB):

EWEB Customer Care (ECC): A $280 credit offered to eligible customers annually.

This program is not offered through Lane County Utility Assistance Programs. 

Pacific Power:

OEAP: Available to Pacific Power customers who meet income guidelines. No social security numbers required.

Springfield Utility Board (SUB):

Project Share: A one time annual assistance of up to $225 for the electric portion of a bill.

Eligible households will:
Be a SUB customer and
Have a "past due" or "due upon receipt" bill and
Meet income guidelines
