Park Description

Deerhorn County Park, just off Highway 126 near Springfield, is a quiet riverside park nestled along the scenic McKenzie River. Surrounded by forest, this peaceful retreat offers a variety of ways to enjoy the outdoors whether you're casting a line or enjoying a quiet afternoon under the canopy

The park features picnic tables, a grill, and a swing set, making it a great spot for all ages. Gentle paths wind along the river through the trees, offering opportunities for a stroll, wildlife viewing, or simply relaxing by the water.

Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife lists it in their 65 places to fish in Lane County List with bank access and a boat launch for trout, salmon and steelhead. 


Park Information 

  • Day use is open year-round from dawn - dusk.
  • Day Pass or Annual Pass required.
