Sex Offender Registration

Sheriff's Office BadgeThe Oregon State Police Sex Offender Registration Unit tracks registration of all persons convicted of sex crimes that reside, work, or attend school within the State of Oregon. The Lane County Sheriff’s Office does not maintain sex offender registration files.

 

Lane County Central Reception Records Officers are responsible for completing and forwarding to the Oregon State Police Sex Offender Registration Unit all required paperwork, including:

 

  • Initial registration;
  • Fingerprinting;
  • Address changes; and,
  • Annual reporting of sex offenders.

 

Office hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The office is closed on legal holidays. Central Reception Records Officers also assist the public with other requests, so a significant wait may be expected.
