The Lane County Sheriff’s Office Police Records Unit provides releasable public records, including agency police reports, citations, and incident logs (Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) logs) to the general public.
Public Records
Sheriff’s Office public records requests can be submitted in two ways:
• Submit a records request online where you will find complete instructions for request submission, fee schedule and payment information.
• Complete and submit the Sheriff's Office Public Records Request Form via mail or in person along with fee payment by check or money order made payable to LCSO (see fee schedule below). Citizens dropping off requests in person are assisted on a first come, first serve basis and may experience a wait time.
Please provide a phone number where we can reach you; staff will contact you between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., including weekends, if your request requires additional fees. Payment by credit card will incur a 3% bank service fee. Please be advised that words, phrases, sections or pages may be redacted from report copies due to confidentiality requirements, ongoing investigations, pending court actions, and CJIS requirements.
For additional information, Police Records can be reached at 541-682-3775 during their phone hours Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
